Chairwoman Song LiyuanAs the present Chairwoman of the Council of Democrats, Song Liyuan is the 20th person elected to her position. She is known for her crackdown on corruption, the strengthening of the socialist market economy, and stance on international cooperation along with peaceful co-existence. Many of her policies have been in effect since 2057, when former Chairwoman Jenifer Morgen adopted them to combat the growing problems of inequality and corruption. Due to this she managed to rally support for her election in 2060, beating out the interventionist candidate of Lev Bronshtein, who she would go onto support in his election for Vice Chairman in 2061.

Hao XiaopingCurrently working with the Council of State Security (CSS) as its Seconday Minister of State Security. He is a supporter of the socialist market economy along with free access to the internet; however, he believes that people should be responsible with their internet use and actively practice a form of "self-censorship" as to prevent the spread of "fake" or "misleading" news regarding either the SUSR or foreign nations. His major policy proposal has been the "Golden Shield Project', which essentially will help citizens fight against misinformation.

Song Seung-YunSong Seung-Yun is both the oldest child of Chairwoman Song Liyuan and an accomplished business woman. Today she is the Chairwoman of NewsNet, which is the SUSR's largest news provider, where she started off as a journalist after her successful career in the entertainment industry where her talents ranged from singing to song writing and acting in film. She, as of now, has a net worth of $43 billion which ranks her as the 7th richest person in the world. However, her wealth has not prevented her from supporting socialist causes such as her work in trying to abolish the "slave contracts" in the SUSR's special economic zones for people in the entertainment industry along with the poor laborers of SUSR factories in South Korea, Alaska, and Taiwan. Along with this she is an advocate of creating better situations for journalists to conduct their work without harassment from either corporations or the government.
(She has stated before that she may run for China's President in the future) |

She currently works as a political commentator with NewsNet as she gives her thoughts on television regarding SUSR domestic and foreign policy. Many people in alternative media outlets have considered her a "left neoliberal" for many of her stances.
